About Us
Our Approach
NELGPC was founded in 2008 to combine the training and experience of a large Boston law firm with boutique partner-level service and responsiveness that clients expect and deserve. We partner with our clients to develop best practices and policies to comply with the rapidly evolving labor, employment and benefits landscape, which will foster a work environment that incentivizes employees and creates a productive workforce. Whether advising employers about human resource and benefits best practices, developing recruitment and hiring practices to attract and retain top talent including foreign labor, or zealously defending employers in administrative actions before state and federal agencies, including in IRS, DOL, OSHA, NLRB and EEOC audits and investigations, as well as in the state and federal courts, NELGPC works as a member of the employer’s team to achieve desired outcomes.
Our Story
Debra Dyleski-Najjar, Esq., is president and founder of the Najjar Employment Law Group, P.C. She has practiced employment, benefits and labor law for over thirty (30) years, and was an equity partner in the Boston office of Hinckley Allen & Snyder, a 250 attorney regional law firm, with offices in Boston, Providence, and Concord. While retaining a strong Boston presence for her firm, Debra returned to her deep roots in the labor history of the Merrimack Valley where her grandfather was a leader of the Bread and Roses Strike of 1912 opposing wages and labor conditions in the textile mills.
Earning the AFL-CIO labor scholarship when graduating as valedictorian of Lawrence High School, Debra was the first in her family to attend college. She continued her family legacy by becoming a management labor and employment attorney to help employers make workplaces better while avoiding the time, expense and disruption of a unionized workplace. In 2012, Debra’s son Alex, a graduate of Brandeis University and Suffolk University School of Law, joined the practice to carry on the family tradition.
