Debra Dyleski-Najjar, Esq. presented her monthly legal update on October 9 as Legislative Director of the Greater Merrimack Valley Human Resource Association. Among other developments, Debra discussed Massachusetts’ new pay transparency disclosure law which will take effect this month, recent “joint employer” liability decisions which may find the host employer or related employer liable under Massachusetts law, immigration changes impacting employers and the importance of conducting internal I-9 audits, OSHA developments, as well as the demise of disparate impact theory and a quorum at the EEOC.
