September 2026 Employment Law Update

Debra Dyleski-Najjar, Esq. presented a legal update on September 10 at the Greater Merrimack Valley Human Resource Association’s first meeting following summer break.  The update covered key developments in labor and employment law occurring over the summer of which HR professionals need to be aware.  Topics included: IRS guidance on Trump accounts, retirement plan rollovers and PFML credit; an immigration law update; recent Massachusetts legislation regarding PFML rate changes and the PROTECT Act; a USDOL update including guidance on Trump accounts and recent opinion letters; DOL’s Revised Regulations Under 503 and VEVRAA impacting federal contractors; an EEOC update and a case law update.
